Updates and Pics of our "Wee Babe"

 First of all the sun has been shining lately and I am sooo happy that spring is on its way! The air even feels different and I am soaking in the long days of sunlight and warm weather. 70 degrees- yes!

As for baby details- since my situation from last pregnancy was a-typical, the doctors want to keep a close watch on this baby to make sure all is going well. Which means I have already had 2 ultrasounds which went well, and the baby looks healthy and to be growing well. Yesterday we had an appointment scheduled with the specialist and Dave and I were so excited for this appt. because we would get to see the baby for an extended period of time and get a thorough ultrasound.

Wouldn't you know, early yesterday morning Dave came down with the stomach flu- and I mean a BAD stomach flu. Poor guy. He definately could not come with me to the appt. which means I was frantically trying to find a mate to go to the doctor with me. I don't like to go alone, because well,  I am just wimpy:):) My wonderful sis- Kjersti  was available and so willing to come with me with just 45 minutes notice. I love having sisters!

 The doc. did alot of screening tests, and was able to get some really cool shots of our wee babe. My heart just melted when I saw this little person that actual resembles a baby. I was amazed at how much they are able to see and detect at just 12 weeks.

He said things look good and there is normal growth for that age, so all is well for now. I did more blood work yesterday and we are hoping that all comes back with good results. I am confident in the docs and in Heavenly Father that all will work out fine. :):) So, thankfully we got these images so that I could fill Dave in on all the cute things we saw, what the baby was doing and how it all went.
