Five Years Ago..

We joined our hands, heart and souls together forever. This was the happiest day of my life.

I still remember the joy in his eyes as we were married and promised blessings as husband and wife. I will never forget that feeling of peace and joy and knowing that the stars had aligned and I found my true love.

I remember the feeling of being surrounded by all my favorite people, all of us dancing, celebrating and soaking in the beauty of Love and New Life!

I absolutely love the way you love me, the way you look at me and let me know that everything is going to be just fine. You are the perfect person for me. We are so lucky to have found each other. Our marriage is not perfect- our life is not perfect, but it is ours and it is REALLY good. 

We spent this anniversary packing up our home in Reno, and moving our lives down to Vegas where we will spend the next few years in school. Our day was not as romantic as it has been in past years when we took vacations and relished in our oneness- However this anniversary was special because we were doing "real-life stuff," the stuff that we always do that cements us as a family. We enjoyed the small and simple things of our special day- being together and making a new home. And every once in a while in the middle of unpacking a box with family all around I would get a special wink and "I love you- Happy Anniversary." We are starting a new chapter in our lives and it is FUN!!!
